The BEST Hormone-Healthy Matcha Latte

Hi friends! If you love matcha, or want to love it, then this recipe is for you. Matcha is rich in antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds that help to reduce inflammation, boost cognitive health and memory, reduce stress and anxiety, support metabolic health, and so much more. Not only can matcha consumption support hormone health, but so can maca root, which is also in my matcha latte recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp organic, ceremonial grade matcha powder (this is my favorite)
  • 1/2 tsp maca root powder
  • 1 medjool date, pitted
  • Dash of ceylon cinnamon
  • Dash of pure vanilla extract (omit if your almond milk contains vanilla)
  • 2 tbsp full fat coconut milk (optional)
  • 1 cup almond milk

Directions:

  1. Start by soaking the pitted medjool date in a mug with just enough water to cover it.
  2. Drain the liquid, or keep it, and place the date into a blender.
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend thoroghly until frothy and well combined.
  4. Heat if desired, or enjoy cold with ice.

  • Ceylon cinnamon - help to regulate blood sugar levels and reduces inflammation.
